The Day - The marriage of Beth Caroline Draper and Simon Hardy

Well the day will soon be upon us, when we have to put aside our nerves and rush headlong into this unifying bond that is marriage. I'm sure there should be a famous quote added to this page but I can't think of one right now.

The Venues

The day will begin at 4pm with the official civil marriage ceremony, this has a limitation of 40 guests imposed by the registry office. We hope those who have been invited to the ceremony will join us at the registry office, and those who we have regrettably had to leave out will join us at the reception venue later in the day.

Wedding Ceremony

The civil ceremony will be held at: The Garden Room, Dacorum Register Office, The Bury, Queensway, Hemel Hempstead Hertfordshire, HP1 1HR and will start at 4pm on the 26th June 2004

The Bury, Queensway: A grade II listed building built around 1790. A replacement for the original Manor House of William Ginger, a prosperous local attorney, its land once included the present Dacorum College and Gadebridge Park.

The traditional speeches and cake cutting will be held once the wedding ceremony guests have arrived at the reception. This will mark the end of the formal proceedings for the day and the start of the celebrations. Food will be provided for all guests in the form of a BBQ and a free bar will be available (although donations to the school fund would be appreciated). Entertainment will be provided by the traditional wedding disco and we also hope to have a live band murder some of your favourite tunes. We encourage parents to bring the children with them, and hope to provide some activities to amuse the younger guests.
